Chaumont Bakery & Cafe offers quality coffee in one of the most popular places in Los Angeles. Located right off of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, dress your best and be on the lookout for a celebrity sighting.

The ivy-covered cafe has outside seating, which is ideal for people-watching. The baked goods at Chaumont are the main focus of the cafe. From almond croissants to pain suisse, apricot tarts, and more, the Chaumont is sure to satisfy your every sweet tooth need.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops for the selection of pastries alone but I also enjoy the savory cappuccinos and lattes with sweetened condensed milk. Nothing compliments high-quality pastries quite like a good cup of joe.

Dont Miss: Ask about the vegan options at Chaumont Bakery & Cafe. These pastries are just as yummy as their non-vegan counterparts.

They are famous for their toasted sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, incredible hot drinks, and the popular Figueroa a specialty drink with espresso, milk, condensed milk, and cinnamon, decorated with a Maria cookie on top.

In my beginning years as a career coach, I attended networking meetings, met with clients and took business calls all over Los Angeles, primarily hopping into different coffee shops. What I found was that each place had its perks, some are great for meetings, some for zoning in and getting focused work done. The environment is everything when it comes to getting certain tasks done.

If you are one of the 4.7 million who moved to fully remote work in recent years, here are the top coffee shops to work from in Los Angeles and why you should try them out.

Notes On Prism Coffee

Prism Coffee is a wonderful, tiny slice of coffee heaven. Robin and his staff’s attention to detailmainly for their pour-over and iced coffeeis undeniably the shop’s strongsuit. That and ample charging, good wifi, and friendly service pushes Prism into my top 10.
If you’re not into pourover coffee, or don’t want to front the steep price for it, try the cortado. There isn’t much food at Prism, but their waffle is to die for.
You won’t hear much about Prism because of its distance from campus and low-profile shop . Save Prism for a day when you’re craving a great cup of coffee and a nice chat over a long work session.

Silverback Coffee Of Rwanda

Rwanda native Jack Karuletwa roasts African beans in Boyle Heights and brews them at the Echo Park spinoff at the base of the historic Jensen’s Recreation Center building. This location has a more robust food menu than the Boyle Heights original, including breakfast wraps, salads, and sandwiches, with several vegan options. How to order: Walk-ins are welcome, though its possible to order ahead online and via Uber Eats or by calling 213-318-5048.

Notes On Nothing But Coffee

As the name suggests, Nothing But Coffee serves coffee. And a really good waffle . Pourover, matcha, cold brew, lattes NBC nails all of these and serves until 2 AM.
NBC is a wonderful spot for late-night work sessions, but mind the limited parking in the back lot if youre driving, and limited table space .
The coffee might look expensive on the menu, but their pours are generous… often coming in pitchers large enough to keep you caffeinated for hours.

Civil Coffee Review: Why Is It Worth Visiting

Enough about the ambiance you want to know about the goods.

For the most part, Civil brew Coava and Heart beans, two very reputable and high brow brands on the market right now. That means the staples are rich and tasty, and thats everything us coffee-lovers need from a mug of java.

The specialty drinks are well worth a try, too. The Figueroa is a fantastic combination of espresso and condensed milk, topped off with a dash of cinnamon, plus, its one of the espressos that doesnt change regularly.
