Pour the drained-out fluid back in and repeat the cycle a few times. Then empty the water collecting dish, place it under the Nespresso machine, and press the lungo button for the flushing procedure.

You need to use descaler in your Nespresso machine. Nespresso sells its own version, which comes in a pack with two sachets, but you can use any commercially available descaler instead, just make sure that you follow the instructions on the amount to use. Nespresso makes capsule coffee machines, so if the coffee machine doesnt pierce the capsule, it cant brew coffee.

The pyramids cant open the capsule if they are clogged with coffee grounds. Use soap, water, and a small brush to unclog the plate.
Non-Compatible Capsules

How To Fix Nespresso Next Blinks 2 Times In 1 Second And Then Off
This mostly happens in 2 different conditions.
1. During coffee preparation
During coffee preparation, makes sure that a new undamaged capsule has been inserted correctly. Make sure the machine is locked properly.
If the light is still on, try inserting a new coffee pod, lock it, and press the button.
2. During the descaling process
During descaling or cleaning, make sure that the machine is locked properly and that there are no capsules in the machine.
Press and hold the button for about 3 seconds to turn the machine off. Press the button again to turn it on. If the light is still flashing, unplug it from the wall outlet.
Wait 10 seconds before plugging it back in, then switch it on again.
Nothing Is Coming Out Of My Nespresso
There are several reasons why nothing is coming out of your Nespresso machine:
- Check that your water tank is filled and in the right position. Nespresso machines do not have low-water sensors , so you have to check the water level before using a capsule.
- Check that the capsule is inserted properly and the machine is correctly closed and locked.
- Do a cleaning cycle and try descaling. As always, a rinse cycle usually solves blockages.
Air Pocket
Another common issue of nothing coming out of a Nespresso machine is that theres an air pocket. This happens when you brew coffee, and the water tank runs dry. Your Nespresso machine will make a loud whooshing noise as it blows air through the machine.
Even after filling the tank, you will have the airlock issue when running the next pod. You need to cycle the air out of the machine with the following steps.
