Ive been ordering from a few places and trying out all I can get my hands on. Majesty is the best I have had and is my official go to for espressos. Its amazing.

It took me a little to work through all the settings to get it dialed in the way I want, but I really love the machine. Very powerful/fast steam, and consistent espresso shots – like a professional machine. Like previous response, it would be nice if they could put the group cleaning function at top of menu, but I imagine when enough folks complain there will be a software update to accommodate this. Oh, and it looks beautiful, too!

I love the morning lattes.

Machine works great!

Great price and arrived sooner than expected. Wonderful relatively small device. There is a learning curve but the coffee is great.

Went from GH2 to an EK43 LOVE IT!

What To Look For In Used Espresso Machines

Used and refurbished espresso machines should always be purchased from reputable resellers. Individuals who sell espresso machines may not know about or disclose potential problems with the machines theyre selling, so its always recommended to shop for used machines from established and trusted companies.

Resellers should always have any defects listed for individual machines they sell, whether theyre used or refurbished. Because trusted companies are knowledgeable about espresso machines and often carry out testing on any they choose to resell, they will know about any issues with functionality, missing parts, or visual defects.

How Our Used Espresso Machines Are Inspected

Used espresso machines are thoroughly inspected as part of the refurbishment process.

With the exception of JURA and Cuisinart machines, which are refurbished by the manufacturer at their facilities, all outlet items refurbished by Whole Latte Love undergo a thorough inspection process in our tech shop. Our certified technicians start by checking the package to ensure that all included accessories are accounted for before doing a preliminary visual inspection of the machine. They’ll look for things such as dents, large scratches, or broken components, which may significantly impact the aesthetic appearance of the machine. We do not accept the return of machines that have been customized, so you’ll never get a model engraved with someone else’s initials or plastered with bumper stickers.

After a machine has passed the “first impression” inspection, the real work begins. A technician will go through a detailed checklist to ensure that the machine is working properly. Electrical components and wiring, monitors, Teflon lines, valves, connectors, nuts, and bolts have to be accounted for and inspected. Any malfunctioning or underperforming parts will be replaced so that the machine can work like new. The boiler, solenoid valves, steam wand, and controls are main points of focus for our techs. After the necessary components have been repaired or replaced, the machine gets put through the wringer before it is approved to be resold.

Better Quality. Because of the lowered price, getting a used machine will open more options for better-quality, even commercial espresso machines. For the same amount of money you would pay for a standard brand new home machine, you can access higher-grade espresso machines that will produce superior espressos. Regarding this, is it worth it to buy a cappuccino machine? More often than not, a good personal coffee machine is well worth the cost. You’ll not only be saving more money per cup as opposed to buying at a coffee shop, but it’s also faster and more convenient than going out to your local coffee place.

Keeping This In Consideration Why Are Cappuccino Machines So Expensive

Rancilio Tecna DE Electronic 2 group Commercial Espresso Machine Use and Test

Commercial espresso machines are expensive for a reason they are built to handle the heavy workload of a busy coffee joint. Even the most expensive home espresso machine wont be able to hold a candle to the most basic commercial-grade machine.A commercial espresso machine has heavy-duty components like a water pump , a water circulation system and boiler, and multiple heads to keep up with the brisk demand for coffee. How To Choose The Right Commercial Espresso Machine For Your Coffee Shop

Commercial Coffee Machines for sale in UK

Commercial espresso machines exist for one reason only to keep up with the requirements of a café business. Even the smallest ones. For this reason, they are very different to home espresso machines. They are designed to produce consistently high-quality coffee throughout the day, no matter how crowded the shop.

However, not all espresso machines are created equal. And which one you end up buying can have a crucial impact on your business, just like choosing the right name for your coffee shop. Thats why you dont want to rush this decision.

To help you make an informed decision, I recommend reading up on how espresso machines work. Then, you can match those up to the four important factors listed below and see which commercial espresso machine will work best for your business.

Brew A Morning Drink With An Espresso Machine

When you wake up in the morning, you may opt for a shot of espresso to get your day started off right. After all, the smooth crema and rich shot of caffeine provide the perfect fuel when you need instant energy. Save time on your busy morning routine by brewing shots of espresso in only a matter of minutes right in your own kitchen. With a little practice, you’ll be making cappuccinos, lattes, and macchiatos better than the Barista at your local coffee shop.

What’s the difference between an espresso machine and a coffee maker?

The main difference is that an espresso machine makes beverages by using pressure to force hot water through more finely ground beans.

What’s the difference in espresso, latte, cappuccino and regular coffee?

Regular java is made from a coarser ground bean steeped in hot water. Espresso is made by forcing pressurized water through finer ground beans, making a finished product that is usually served in small servings called shots. Cappuccino and latte are both made by combining espresso with milk. Cappuccino is made with equal parts espresso and steamed milk while lattes use twice as much milk that has been heated.

How do you use an espresso maker?

    • Fill the espresso machine’s reservoir with cold filtered water
    • Turn the machine on and let it warm up for a few minutes
    • Use a grinder to grind fresh beans to your preferred consistency
    • Put the ground coffee into your machine and tamp them down
    • Brew your fresh espresso shot and enjoy

    Ease Of Use And Maintenance

As with all professional, high-performance equipment, maintenance is a key issue. This refers to both everyday routines like cleaning the machine, as well as the ease of getting it repaired in case of technical issues.

In case you were wondering, heres what the folks at Seattle Coffee Gear have to say:

We recommend descaling your espresso machine every few months under normal usage, but you may have to perform this more frequently if your water has a high mineral content.

Almost all automatic espresso machines available in the market today are designed to free you and your staff from menial tasks of everyday maintenance, and the Unic Mira, an automatic commercial espresso machine, that didnt make this list is not any different.

However, it is worth researching the practically of each individual model. Most automatic espresso machines are self-cleaning, but they still need to be descaled regularly. They usually dont have detachable group-heads, which means youll have to depend on the machines self-cleaning ability.

You could opt for an automatic commercial espresso machine that feature removable parts. It will give you the flexibility to do a manual deep clean every now and then, but you will have to train your staff to take the kit apart and put it back together.

Bezzera Magica Best For Catering Or Espresso Carts

Mastrena Starbucks Espresso Machine for Sale Refurbished Last One!

    Specifications

Bezzera was the first company to patent an espresso machine in the early 1900s, and their over-a-century of experience is clear in the quality of their products. The Bezzera Magica combines the best of classic, time-tested elements with modern, practical features, making it an ideal addition to your home or small commercial set-up.

The Magica uses the industry-standard E61 group head coupled with a copper heat exchange boiler, so you can pull a shot and steam milk at the same time. Two gauges on the front panel allow you to monitor boiler and pump pressure, making it easy to achieve consistent results. Its a semi-automatic machine, so it does require a bit more barista skill and attention than an automatic.

The steam and hot water wands are operated with joysticks rather than knobs, which is more ergonomic in a commercial setting when youll be making a lot of consecutive drinks.

The casing is a mirror-polished stainless steel. Not only does this add a touch of glamor to your set-up, but its ultra durable, which is important if you plan on regularly transporting it to and from gigs.

    Why Buy Used Espresso Machines

When you buy a new piece of coffee equipment, youre offered the confidence that youre purchasing a machine that works properly and is free from any defects. On the other hand, used or refurbished machines arent new, can have issues, and often come with limited warranties or none at all. So, why buy a used espresso machine?

Cost is the primary motivator for buying a used espresso machine. Used and refurbished models are often significantly cheaper than new ones, and with some machines costing several thousands of dollars, even a little cost savings can go a long way.

Keeping This In Consideration How Much Should I Pay For An Espresso Machine

At the most basic level, you can get a stovetop espresso maker for about $30. If you want a simple, single-cup, pod-style espresso machine, you might spend between $40 and $150. This depends on frothing capabilities, water reservoir size and other features. The most popular espresso machines cost between $150 and $300.

    Capacity Of The Espresso Machine

Expobar commercial coffee machine with grinder

The capacity of the commercial espresso machine you should choose depends on the scale of your business.

Will your café be serving hundreds of to-go cups every day? Are you a local roastery serving specialty brews to small number of discerning customers? How much space do you have to store the machine? How many baristas do you want to be able to operate the machine simultaneously? These are all important questions to ask before choosing your espresso machine .

The machines capacity is dictated by the number of group-heads and the size of the boiler. Most professional coffee machines have 2, 3 or 4 group-heads. The number of group heads dictates how many baristas can work the machine simultaneously, and each head can produce 2 drinks at the same time. Do keep in mind that a higher number isnt always better as you might be limited by the space available behind the counter.

Boiler capacity is also an important factor in choosing the right coffee machine. It should be large enough to provide you enough hot water during peak hours. Usually, the more number of heads a machine has, the larger its boiler capacity.

You should also keep the size of the machine in mind. While a large machine will cost more and require more space, it could endear you to your staff and improve service time.
