Groupon Or Living Social
This one isnt free, but its definitely discounted. Once or twice a year, usually after the holiday season, Starbucks will run a promotion with Groupon offering you a discounted Starbucks gift card. The last deal I saw was $5 for $10, but 50% off is better than nothing, so I jump at the chance.
You have to be on the Groupon mailing list to find out about the deal, but its still a great offer if youre a frequent Starbucks guest.
Living Social offers a similar deal to its members.
In both cases, theres usually a limit of one deal per email address. You can get around that fairly easily by using multiple email addresses or using your significant others email address. Each of those email addresses will need a separate account on the site.
