Overall, the Nespresso Creatista Plus Espresso Machine is ideal for anyone who wants quick and easy espresso drinks. It does the majority of the work and produces a consistent result every time.
One thing we really loved about this espresso machine is that it heats up in three seconds, which is pretty much unheard of when it comes to espresso machines. It’s also energy efficient in that it will minimize power when its not in use and turn off automatically after nine minutes.
Another nice feature of this espresso machine is its ability to create a lovely micro-foam. I was impressed at how well this machine could automatically manipulate the milk to create a nice frothy texture without requiring me to do anything but touch a button. There are additional adjustable settings that allow the user to change the milk temperature and texture .
If youre looking for convenience first, this espresso machine is for you.
There are eight beverage selections in total, including ristretto, espresso, lungo, flat white, cappuccino, latte macchiato, cafe latte, and milk froth. The coffee volume can be adjusted per capsule, which is nice for extra customization. I used this machine to make espresso shots, lungos, flat whites, cappuccinos, and lattes. I found that overall, the drinks I made were all very consistent. Each was also incredibly full-flavored by the dark espresso.

Ease Of Cleaning: Daily Cleaning Required Steam Wand Self
The Nespresso Creatista Plus Espresso Machine requires cleaning after each days use. The used capsule container needs to be disposed of daily. Additionally, the drip tray, water tank, and lid need to be washed and dried. If the milk jug was used, that needs to be washed and can be placed in the dishwasher.
Whats nice about the steam wand is that it does an automatic steam purge after it has been used. However, I still had to clean the outside of the wand with a wet cloth to wipe off the dried milk. The user manual also suggests filling the milk jug with just water and selecting the milk function on the display to further clean the wand. The water should then be discarded.
I found the cleaning process to be fairly standard for an espresso machine. In total, it probably took about 10 to 15 minutes to clean each day.

Price: Expensive But Fair

Ahh Morning Coffee Was Never Better
My husband and I enjoy our morning coffee. This machine is easy to use and requires little maintenance compared to our previous machines. I use a variety of coffee pods and have had nil issues so far. I had to change the milk settings to hot as we like out coffee extra hot. This was very easy to do by just following the on screen prompts. The cost was an initial shock but as my grandson would say ‘you get what you paid for nan,” and nan is very happy.

The product I’ll be reviewing today – the Breville Nespresso Creatista Plus has made her favorite things list.
The Breville Nespresso Creatista Plus is not your typically high-end automatic espresso machine. Well, in some ways it is, in others, no.
For example, with the push of a button you can get a barista made coffee at home. Choose from your basic Espresso, or amp it up with a Ristretto, Lungo, Cappuccino, Latte, Flat White & Latte Macchiato.
It has automatic milk texturizing. A price tag of below 1000$ is stunning as Nespresso in opinion is the best coffee out there.

Terrible Lemon Of A Machine
Like a previous reviewer, I purchased this machine from Good Guys in June 2021.It must have been a very bad month at the factory as our machine is the same type of lemon others have described.My daughter has one that works, so I do know they can be good, and can only surmise that this batch has something terribly wrong or it was Friday afternoon at the factory. Nespresso Creatista Plus Overview
Nespresso has two lines of capsule-based espresso machines:
- OriginalLine: Their original line that used a 19 bar pump to extract shots from capsules
- VertuoLine: Their new line that uses Centrifusion to extract shots from barcode-enabled capsules but also brews standard coffee up to 17 oz
For our money, OriginalLine machines are better than VertuoLine machines because their pump produces more authentic espresso, the coffee tends to be hotter, and there’s no barcode scanning system meaning you can find less-expensive third-party capsules.
And no series of OriginalLine brewers tops the Creatistas, which includes the following 3 models:

The Creatista’s draw is its swivel frothing arm, which gives you total control over your milk foam â something Lattissima series doesn’t offer. Instead, Lattissima machines are about one-touch convenience for people who want hands-off cappuccinos and lattes.
Note: You don’t need to froth your milk manually! The Creatista is fully capable of frothing your milk for you. Just leave the milk frothing pitcher on the temperature sensor below the frothing wand and let the machine do its thing.
