- You can swap the maple syrup for another liquid sweetener. If youd prefer to use sugar, you will need to dissolve the sugar in an equal amount of boiling water .

Here are a few easy ways to froth milk when you dont have an espresso machine using simple utensils you might have around the kitchen. All these hacks work with warm milk between 140 and 155 degrees Fahrenheit .
Shaking in a jar
Cannot get any simpler. Pour the warm milk in a jar, screw the lid on and shake it, baby!
Whisking by hand
Add a small quantity to the container and blend on medium.
Works quite well, but make sure to use a tall pot if you dont want milk flying all over the place.
Another simple gadget to froth milk. Just pour warm milk in and pump, literally by pushing up and down for at least 15 seconds

However, if you have ever read the ingredients label on a bottle of coffee creamer, you would be amazed to find a long list of ingredients that you probably dont want to regularly consume.
The good news is that its easy to make your own coffee creamer at home. That way, you know exactly what is going into your cup, and can customize the flavors to your liking. This Healthy Homemade Coffee Creamer Is So Delicious That Youll Never Want To Go Back To The Store
Be sure to use raw cashews you can usually find them in the bulk section of your grocery store or online. Roasted or salted cashews will give you a pretty funky tasting milk. Look for organic if possible. Some chefs will tell you to only buy whole raw cashews as the pieces can be dry, but whole raw cashews can get really pricey so I usually buy the halves or pieces and havent noticed any differences.
Soak your cashews for at least two hours to soften them, I even prefer at least four hours. You can also soak them overnight up to 12 hours for an even easier recipe, just soak them before you go to bed and whip up your cashew milk in the morning. You can soak them at room temperature or in the refrigerator, if I soak longer than four hours I usually pop them into the fridge. You dont have to tightly cover the container, but I usually put something over it to keep the dust out if I have it on the counter.
Make as much as you need for the week on Sunday, it will keep in the refrigerator in a mason jar for about a week. Twelve ounces is just about right in my house for two people to have a splash each morning. Double the recipe if you need more. Just like store-bought stuff, it might separate a little which is no big deal, just shake it up before using.
