Buying a small drink at Starbucks may help you save money in the short term, but if you find yourself going back for seconds, bumping up your cup size may be more economical in the long run.
Everyone should skip buying a tall size, because the grande and venti sizes are a better value, Beach said.
A tall beverage is 12 ounces, whereas a grande drink is 16 ounces and a venti drink is 24 ounces for cold drinks and 20 ounces for hot.
For just a few cents more, you can dramatically increase the amount of coffee or tea you get.

I got Starbucks Blonde Sunrise Blend ground coffee. It is the perfect way to start the day. It is a light roast coffee. Sunrise blend makes a smooth cup of coffee. It has great aromatics. I like my coffee black and it has a delicious flavor.
In that case 15g of light roast has more caffeine than 15g of dark roast. In that case its a 4.4% difference in caffeine content. But dark roast is also less dense. If you use 2Tbsp of dark roast the decreased density means this is ~13g while 2Tbsp of light roast means this is ~15g.

Which Is The Strongest Starbucks Coffee Drink
Starbucks coffee made with the Clover brewing system is the strongest in terms of caffeine content. A tall Clover coffee can have as much as 280 mg of caffeine, although some of the brews may have as little as 255 mg of caffeine.
If you are at a Starbucks that doesnt serve Clover, the next-best option is the blonde roast brewed coffee which has 270 mg of caffeine for a tall.

First of all, you will have to decide what kind of coffee you want to get. I know that sometimes when I go to place my order, I get anxious trying to go over all of my options in my head. Luckily for you, there is a way to avoid this!
If you do not want to go to a Starbucks store to make your order, you can also do it online from the comfort of a stress-free environment like your home or your car. The company offers you the option to go to their online store and place your order, but you can also download the app and use it to make the order! Now, you know, and hopefully can handle the truth about dark roast coffee. As we mentioned, dark roast does not mean youre getting more caffeine in your cup. In fact, if you head to Starbucks, youll find more caffeine in its blonde roast than its dark roast 360 versus 260 milligrams.
A grande Blonde Roast will hit you with 360 whopping milligrams of caffeine. If thats a little extra for you, try the Pike Place Roast, which comes in at 310 milligrams for the same size. You can also go for the Dark Roast, which sits a little lower at 260 milligrams.
