How To Remove Old Coffee Stains From Carpet
Coffee spills on a carpet are just as simple to clean as on clothing. Create a 50/50 mix of white vinegar or lemon juice and water. Use a cloth and this solution to dab the stain away as far as possible. Fresh stains will dissipate quickly but if you find that your stain is only fading and not going away, then resort to creating a paste using vinegar and washing powder. Apply to the stain, and allow it to soak for fifteen to twenty minutes. Blot away the paste with some clean water and a cloth and your stain should be gone.
If you find youre having no luck with this method, you may need to purchase a stronger stain remover.
Blot With Paper Towel
If there is no way to remove your stained clothes immediately then sometimes blotting with a paper towel will help draw out some of the stain. This may be essential if the item is dry clean only and will only work if done immediately following the spill. Try blotting the clothes on both sides of the garment to soak up as much as possible. Avoid vigorous scrubbing as this can worsen the stain.

How To Remove Coffee Stains From White Clothes/shirt
White shirts are particularly vulnerable to stains because of easily exposing and revealing dirt. As such, they require thorough interventions than the ordinary kinds of attire. To rid them of the coffee stains, do the following:
Step I: Wash the clothes as soon as possible. This is to prevent the stain from drying, settling, and hardening on the fabric. When these happen, it may cost you too much effort to reverse the trend.
Step II: Start off by soaking the clothes overnight. This is, of course, to loosen the dirt and let you rid them from the fabric with ease. Use the most powerful detergent possible for your kind of fabric.
Step III: Squeeze the garment, more so the affected portion, hard. This is to get rid of the dirt as much as possible. For gentler fabric, you may consider squeezing gently but for a prolonged duration of time. This too will yield the same outcomes.
Step IV: Finally, rinse the attire with plenty of water and preferably several times and then dry. It is better to hand the garment out in the open rather than using a drying machine. This will save you money and make the clothing smelling fresh.
Rub The Area With Dish Soap
Next, apply a small amount of mild dish soap to a clean, damp cleaning cloth or a sponge.
Rub the dish soap gently on the affected area in a circular motion until the coffee stain disappears.
Dish soap usually works well because the soap will break down the oils in the coffee and lift the entire stain out of your upholstery.
We recommend using Dawn Ultra Dishwashing Liquid Dish Soap.
It has great cutting power on any type of stain and gets excellent reviews on Amazon.
Pro tip: Once you are finished removing the coffee stain from your upholstery, rinse the area to remove any soap traces, and then allow the site to dry thoroughly.
