We just had time to review Reviving Origins Limited Editions Tamuka mu Zimbabwe and Esperanza de Colombia and Nespresso was already releasing two new summer limited editions just in time to refresh us as warmer temperatures are kicking in well, at least here in Southern California.
We already secured a couple boxes for each so expect our reviews of Long Black Over Ice and Flat White Over Ice as early as the first of week of June. We are looking forward to giving these capsules a try, especially as last years iced capsules were pretty disappointing so stay tuned.

Liminha Over Ice Out In The Us
A bit surprisingly, Nespresso released a new limited edition pod for summer 2022: Liminha Over Ice. Thats the first that is specifically geared towards iced coffee and cold coffee in general.
We said surprisingly because there was no hint of such a taste profile for a new limited edition to come out this year. With lime and mint as main flavors, it is a pod that will surely be refreshing to the palate but may put off some drinkers.
This is not the first lime and mint pod that Nespresso released. This award goes to 2013s Liminito.
We dont know if and when Liminha Over Ice will be available worldwide. It may be very soon though, as in some other markets it was released already, which is a good sign that it wont be an US-exclusive pod.
On a related news, some other summer capsules are popping in a few markets. For instance, Freddo Intenso and Freddo Delicato appeared in Germany. Coconut Flavor Over Ice should make a return as well, but we dont know yet when.

The Perfect Iced Coffee At Home Nespresso Launches Two Limited Edition Iced Coffee Flavours
Assuming the sun makes a repeat appearance over the summer, Nespresso has iced coffee lovers covered with two Limited Edition Nepresso on Ice coffees that have been specially crafted with flavour notes well suited to sipping chilled.
Intenso on Ice is a bold coffee with cereal and cocoa notes and an rich roasted finish. Served tall macchiato-style with cooled foamed milk, you can expect a smooth and creamy texture with delicious biscuit-like notes from the Intenso capsule.

Nespresso Launches Limited Edition Iced Coffee Capsules
Nespresso has launched a new range of limited edition iced coffee capsules.
The coffee brand announced two brand new exotic flavours for their Barista Creations For Ice range the Limited Edition Coconut Flavour for Original machines and the Limited Edition Tropical Coconut Flavour for Vertuo machines both in aluminium capsules.
All the capsules are expertly created specifically for coffee prepared over ice.
Thanks to popular demand, Nespresso has also brought back the Original Iced Coffee Blends: Barista Creations Freddo Delicato and Freddo Intenso, as well as the Barista Creations Ice Leggero and Ice Forte.
The Original Coconut Flavour Over Ice will set you back £4.50 for a sleeve of 10 and the Vertuo Tropical Coconut Flavour Over Ice will cost £6.20 for 10. These can be purchased on the Nespresso website.
You will then be able to recycle the aluminium capsules through the recently launched PodBack scheme.
Podback sees a new way for Nespresso, NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto, Tassimo, LOR and Starbucks at Home pods to be recycled.
They can can be collected at a Yodel drop-off point or via a kerbside collection for people living in Cheltenham Borough Council and South Derbyshire District Council regions.
The pods are then processed and made into items such as garden furniture, car parts and cans.
The coffee grounds are used to create biogas and soil improver.

Good news for iced coffee lovers, Nespresso has announced the release of two new pods ready for the warmer months.
The range of pods has been designed for iced coffees- so you can get your favourite chilled drink at home.
Nespresso has introduced two new flavours in their Barista Creations over Ice collection, including the limited edition Liminha Over Ice Flavour for Original Machine. This flavour has hints of lime, perfect for a refreshing morning beverage.
The second flavour is the Exotic Liminha Over Ice for the Nespresso Vetuo machine, which is comprised of mint and citrus notes for an extra hit.
In addition to these two new flavours, Nespresso will also be bringing back several limited edition pods from previous years.
Among those making a comeback will be the Tropical Coconut Flavour Over Ice for Vertuo and Original machines while stocks last.
The Freddo Delicato and Freddo Intenso pods for Original machines will also be made available along with the Ice Leggero and Ice Forte pods for Vertuo machines.
If you fancy getting your hands on one of these flavours, prices for pods range from 50p to 69p- which is much cheaper than what you pay at the coffee shop!
In other summer foodie news, McDonalds has revealed their new menu for the warmer months with the addition of some new delicious treats.
Fans can enjoy crispy halloumi fries for the first time at the golden arches, as well as four different burgers, and a new McFlurry flavour.

Its Summer and Nespresso has launched two limited edition capsules inspired by Australian Iced Coffee. The collection includes two capsules, Long Black Over Ice and Flat White Over Ice. I usually drink my coffees hot and never occurred to me that I could make an iced beverage with the Nespresso. Silly me.
